# 解决 `remote` 和 `remoteSecure` 表函数的超时错误

> 了解如何通过调整连接超时设置，解决在 ClickHouse 中使用 `remote` 或 `remoteSecure` 表函数时出现的超时错误。

**问题**
[`remote()` or `remoteSecure()`](/zh/reference/functions/table-functions/remote) 表函数允许从另一个 ClickHouse 节点访问远程表。

当在与远程节点之间的延迟超过 100 毫秒的节点上使用这些函数时，通常会遇到超时错误。

例如：

**变通方法**
如需增大连接超时时间，请将 [`connect_timeout_with_failover_secure_ms`](https://github.com/ClickHouse/ClickHouse/blob/master/src/Core/Settings.h#L67) 的值从默认的 100 毫秒调高 (例如设为 1 秒) 。
